After successfully introducing a military programming block under the banner of Military History Channel™ in March 2005 on History International™, The History Channel® has expanded that franchise with a new full-scale network, the Military History Channel™, dedicated exclusively to the vast array of military history, to air 24-hours/seven-days-a-week.

The new network launched Spring 2005.
